I was told by the mother of my child, that my daughter wasn't mine for 7 years. she' had even arranged another guy to sign as the father on the birth certificate. Since then her boyfriend and her have split up and she decided having had another kid, that my daughter is now mine and i should pay child support. Already taken the DNA test, already paying child support. is there anything i can do at all about her abandoning me and lying to me. Also, i'm currently paying $100 a week in child support, Why can I only see my daughter once every 2 months and only at her convenience and when i'm paying her in cash, on top of the child support. there were no child custody hearings, and to this day, she has full uncontested custody
We have a blended family and one night a week we have 6 children in our home. We have a large 4 bedroom house and I was wondering if it would be ok to put our 11 yr old son who only comes 1 day a week to share a room with our 8 yr old daughter who is with us full time? I wanted to give our oldest son who lives with us full time his own room since he just graduated and will soon be 19. We also have 2 16 yr old girls who share a room and our youngest who is a baby in our room. My question is it legal to put a boy and a girl in the same room to share?
Can a South Carolina court system order a 16 year old to be on a particular birth control just because the non custodial parent wants this? Is it against her rights as a female to choose her own method?
hello,
while stationed overseas, I was involved with a german citizen and then we broke up. after the departure she stated that she was pregnant and wanted to keep the baby. I reminded her that we were not to gether but stil respected her choice. The baby was born in Mar 98 and I got out of the military in july of 98. we went to the german dss and I signed the paternity papers. I asked her if the child could have my last name and she said no. it was agreed that I pay her directly instead of the office. I stayed in germany and tried to find work but because of the "german first" mentality, it was hard to find work. I finally found a job and when I went to get my work permit, they told me that the child protective services were looking for me. So I met with them only to find out that about one year after I signed the paternity papers, the mother went back to the office and stated that I was not paying her and the child didnt even know who I was! I immediately left the office and contacted the mother. Her and my daughter arrived and we had another meeting. the truth was told and when asked why she lied to the office, she stated that was around the time she was mad at me. it was cleared up but the child prot. serv said I would have to pay them back form the time the mother filed to the time she got caught. About a year passed and I returned to the US. in 2003 I believe, I received aome pictures of my daughter but never a phone call. Last year I received and email form the mother and approx. 1 week later received a cop of the child support/ paternity forms. Today I find out that there is an arrest warrant for me because of child support. Did I blink? How can this be? I have been out of work for about a year and I just got a letter to start work on the 2 of mar. I need to explore my options before I turn my =self in a have a criminal record. PLEASE HELP
My original divorce decree in 1998 states that i pay child support of 343.00/month. It makes no reference to until the minor child is 18 or graduated from high school. My daughter turns 18 in may, she did not fail, her mother held her back so she has 1 more year of high school left. My ex took me for an increase in 2003 which cs went up to 600.00/month. since then my employer cut out all overtime which was what my increase was based on in 2003. Now that my salary has dropped and my new wife has no income. We have 2 small children how long do i have to pay cs? Do you think the judge would keep it this high or reduce it??? do i pay until 18 or until she graduates. My ex tried to get me to sign a paper saying i would continue to pay cs until our almost 18 yr old reaches 24. I did not sign it. I do not pay cs through the courts i pay directly too my ex.
