I have been married for 4 months and my husband is verbally abusive, drinks and is getting violent. He has now left an abandoned my daughter and I. I want an anullment or quick divorce. How much and can this get done in 30 days? Please contact me- send email with answers. Thanks!
Please help me. I have been married since October 7, 2008 an I need to know how to annul this marriage due to inreconciable differences?
I got married in March and seperated in May. Due to inreconciable differences. I paid an attorney to file for my legal seperation after asking her about an annullment and she claimed i couldn't get one. We share nothing, have no children and went our seperate ways after 6 weeks of marriage so theres nothing to fuss about in court. What are the annullment guidlines in SC and why wouldn't a little over a month marriage not meet any of those? The divorce period is way longer than we were even married.
I got married in feb.2008 and my husband left me 5 days before chrismas. He is now saying our son is not his and he is going to sign his rights over. How do i go about getting an anuulment, and can i get one?
hello i got married on feb 20-09, he got locked up on the 22 and is still in jail, how can i get an annullment. im 25 hes 27 we dont got any kids together, or anything we share together.
Hello. My wife and I are having some major issues and I was told that I may qualify for an annulment. I am doing some research on my own first before I take time to sit down with an attorney. There are two reasons I've been told that would allow an annulment in south carolina for me. One would be the fact that she has pressured me to go along with and be okay with being part of a consipracy to commit tax fraud. Her father owes the IRS a large amount of money and there was some money that he was supposed to inherit from the death of his mother (my wife's grandmother) and so it was give to my wife and her two brothers so they could open an account, deposit the inheritance checks, so their mother can cash the checks for the father...all while he still is running from the IRS. I don't approve of this and I don't wish to be a part of it. I have to claim the income as an asset and pay taxes on the money every year since we are married and so far I haven't allowed a single penny to go to her father. It has caused a huge problem between us and I can't support that. I was told I could probably qualify because of this alone, but the fact that my wife was mentally ill when we got married might be another qualifying reason. We've been married just over 3 years and about a year ago, she was finally diagnosed with a severe case of ADD. She takes 300mg of Riddellin a day. It helps a little, but at the time of our marriage, I don't think she was sane enough to understand what she was committing to. Am I elidgible for annulment or is divorce my only option? Please respond to my email. I go either way, but would like the annulment option. I just don't want her family trust, IRS fraud plan hanging over my head.
I am going to try to make this short. In May of 2008 I was going through a divorce. It was a bad divorce of 18 years of marriage and a 1 1/2 year seperation due to his adultry. I was entitled to alot of money and property. The divorce was posponed until Sept. of 2008 due to issues we were trying to agree on to save attorney fees. In the meantime, I started dating a friend of 20 years. I fell head over heals from his affection and promises. He promised to take care of me and to never leave me and would never treat me like my soon to be ex. I fell for all of this. We talked about my divorce and how long it had taken and how long it would take to get what I was entitled to. He told me to sign over everything to my ex and be done so we could get married and start our life together. I trusted him and that is what I did. The judge begged me to rethink my decision that I was entitled to alot and I needed to rethink my decision. I said no all I wanted was out. I was married in Nov. 2008, and now 4 months later, my husband has decided this is not what he wants. I am totally devistated! I do not want to go through another divoce. I do not want to be the laughing stock of our home town. Can I get an annulment? Please email me with your answer. I do not have any money to pay for an attorney so I need all the advise I can get. Thank you.
I have been married 1 year on april 27, 2009, we are living apart now. My husband has lied about finances and we have lost our home and car. I did not know about the money problems until 1 week before we had toout of our home. He is staying with a friend with his two kids and I'm at my mothers with my son. Can this marriage be annulled because of the deception? This would fall under South Caroline Laws. Any advise would be appreciated!

Hi,
My husband and I got married on Dec. 22nd, 2008 and we've been separated for two months. We've discussed our issues and have decided that we were not going to reconcile. So, do I qualify for an annulment? What else could I do?
ive been married for two weeks and need to get out. ive heard you cant have an annulment in south carolina. is this true?
I have been married just over a year and th was think I might qualify for an annulment. There are several things- 1) we consumated the marriage, but that was the 1st and last time that happened! 2)she told me she prefeered to have her own bed 3) she took custody of her daughters 2 yr . old immediately after the marriage, and then last month took temporary custody of her sons 2-kids. I am 67 yrs old and work on the road all week, this took place while I was out of town on business, never even asked me. These are just a couple of the things that have happened. I think I was a marriage of convenience for paycheck, not love. Can someone please tell me if an annulment might work for me?
Please help me. I have been married since July 25, 2009 an I need to know the cost and how to annul this marriage due to inreconciable differences?
