Jenny Stevens to Moderate 2014 Annual Guardian ad Litem Training

Posted by J. Benjamin Stevens | Jan 05, 2014 | 0 Comments

Spartanburg attorney Jenny Stevens will moderate In the Best Interest of the Child: The 2014 Guardian ad Litem Training and Update, on January 31, 2014, at the Bar Conference Center. This year's seminar, presented by the South Carolina Bar, tracks a GAL case in its entirety with an emphasis on solving problems that guardians and attorneys are seeing.

Jenny has designed a powerful program that begins with a presentation by Family Court Judges and experienced attorneys and GALs, who will cover such topics as what Guardians need to know as they take on a case; best practices for dealing with culturally diverse cases; keys to handling parental interviews; tackling thorny financial issues; situations where the GAL is faced with allegations of child abuse or neglect; psychological red flags of custody cases; parental alienation; effective Guardian Reports; and a tutorial on creating a child-centered Parenting Plan.

If you are an attorney who appears in Family Court or a Guardian ad Litem, you owe it to yourself and your clients to attend this CLE. You can download the brochure by clicking here or register online by clicking here.
