At Stevens Family Law, we've always believed that great outcomes come from a great team, not a single attorney working in isolation. As we recently shared, our attorneys and staff collaborate closely, sharing insight and stepping in for one another so that clients always have more than one person invested in their success. That collaborative culture is exactly why we're excited to welcome Krystal L. Watson to our team this week.
Krystal joins us with a practice focused on divorce, custody, domestic violence, and related family law matters, along with experience in probate, estate planning, real estate, and other civil litigation. That combination adds a valuable dimension to our team. Clients working through a divorce or custody matter often have overlapping questions about safety, property, and planning for the future. Krystal's experience means those needs can be handled inside our collaborative process rather than referred elsewhere.
Just as important as her legal background is her approach to clients. Krystal believes that effective advocacy begins with listening, understanding each client's circumstances, and building a thoughtful strategy around their goals – qualities that fit naturally with the accessibility and genuine care our team brings to family law cases. She is committed to helping clients move forward with greater clarity and confidence at every stage. Clients deserve to understand what's happening in their case, not be left guessing.
Krystal is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the State Bar of Michigan, earned her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and brings nearly two decades of courtroom and client-centered experience, including leadership roles with South Carolina Legal Services and Project R.E.S.T. She currently serves in the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates for the 7th Judicial Circuit and as the 7th Circuit Representative for the South Carolina Black Lawyers Association, reflecting the same community-minded spirit that runs through our team.
Adding an attorney of Krystal's caliber lets us hold our firm's standards while expanding what we can offer families across South Carolina. We're glad to have her with us, and we believe our clients will quickly agree. To learn more about Krystal, visit her attorney profile – or call us at (864) 598-9172 to schedule a consultation.
